World renowned Boston Celtic and Indiana Pacers coach Larry Bird's home on Abbeydell Pike has been a must-see for fans for several years. Until now, all fans have been able to do is drive past, but that will soon change as the estate becomes the Legend of French Lick Resort under new owners Christopher Cooke and Georgianna Lincoln of Alaska.

2010 PPNC set to visit Indiana's Land of Legends
Past and present are on proud display at reinvigorated French Lick Resort, which is primed -- and pumped -- to play host its first PGA of America event since Walter Hagen's historic 1924 PGA Championship victory.

The web edition of the Chicago Tribune recently featured French Lick and West Baden Springs as a Midwest destination, recommending the area for “romantics, history buffs, spa connoisseurs, golfers and casino-goers.”
