By Auto: French Lick is less than a half-day's journey from most Midwestern cities. You can click here for door to door directions from MapBlast or just follow the following simple City to City directions.

From Louisville - 68 Miles - 70 Minutes: Take I-64 West to SR 37 North (Tell City-exit 79), to French Lick.

From Indianapolis - 108 Miles - 2 1/2 Hours: South on Route 37 to Paoli, Hwy. 56 West - 10 miles to French Lick.

From Cincinnati - 142 Miles - 3 Hours: A. I-71 to Carrollton - Ky. 36 to Milton over bridge to Madison - West on 56 through Paoli to French Lick. B. Take I-71 to Louisville - to I-64 West to SR 37 North (Tell City-exit 79) to French Lick.

From Evansville - 90 Miles - 2 Hours: I-64 East to SR 37 (Tell City-exit 79) to French Lick.

From Chicago - 275 Miles - 5 Hours: Route I-90 Southeast to I 65 South, to I-465 South & West at Indianapolis. Take Route 37 South to Paoli, Hwy. 56 West - 10 miles to French Lick.

From Cleveland - 390 Miles - 7 Hours: A. I-71 to Carrollton - IN, KY. state roads 56, 37, 36 to Milton over bridge to Madison - West on 56 through Paoli to French Lick. B. Take I-71 to Louisville - to I-64 West to SR 37 North (Tell City-exit 79) to French Lick.

From Detroit: 397 Miles - 6 1/2 Hours: I-94 West to I-69 near Battle Creek. South on I-69 to I-465, South and East around Indianapolis to 37 South to Paoli - Hwy. 56 West to French Lick.

From Nashville - 240 Miles - 4 1/2 Hours: I-65 North to Louisville to I 264 West to 64 West to SR 37 North (Tell City-exit 79) to French Lick.

From St. Louis - 208 Miles - 4 Hours: I-64 East to SR 37 North (Tell City-exit 79) to French Lick.

By Air :Several major airlines fly into Louisville. From there you have a choice of limousine, taxi, bus, or rental car. You may also fly a charter or private plane directly to the French Lick Municipal Airport.

Directions to the RESORT from French Lick

Drive north on 56 for 1 mile from French Lick (or 1/2 mile from West Baden).

Turn left (east) on Abbeydell Road. (this turns into W. County Rd.).

We are about 1/2 mile from the 56 intersection on the left side of the road.
